Cheers King William-0900

The King William IV is a delightful country style pub discovered while Mr E-D was in hospital.  After visiting him one Saturday evening, we spotted this lovely black and white pub on the way home and stopped for a meal. We all chose the beer battered fish and chips supper which was absolutely delicious.

  1. Thank you, Jane. Nothing beats a good old fashioned English pub for being friendly and welcoming in an hour of need! Wish this one was a bit nearer to my home, would be making lots of use of it if it was!! 🙂

  2. We visited a pub years ago when our daughter was spending a semester in Oxford. We had the most delicious Shepherd’s Pie, we still talk about it! It was a rainy, cold day and the pie was the perfect antidote to the chill in our bones! This looks like a lovely place to sit and chat!
